  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Tap General → About
  3. Look for Model Name
✓ Has NFC: iPhone 7, 8, X, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 (2016 or later)
✗ No NFC: iPhone 6s, 6, 5s, 5 or earlier (2015 or earlier)

  2. Type "NFC" in the search box at the top
  3. What do you see?
Great! Now let's make sure it's turned on
  1. Tap on the NFC option
  2. Look for a switch or toggle
  3. Make sure it's turned ON (usually blue or to the right)
